It is an area of two halves for our trade: established stone and post-war housing in and around the town centre, and a large volume of recent new build around the edges. The right advice is very different for each.
Town Centre Stone, Post-War Estates And New Build
Dalkeith town centre has older stone terraces and townhouses, with the usual solid-wall considerations: heat loss is higher than a modern build, so heat pump and radiator sizing has to be done on real numbers rather than a rule of thumb.
